We Fall In....Colours. September Blog Hop.

Hello Beautiful People.

Welcome to my blog. My name is Mel and I love paper crafting.
I'd like to welcome you to the September blog hop with the team from We Fall In...Colours.
This is my first time hopping with them all and I'm so happy to be here with you all.

Our colours this month are Pacific Point, Magenta Madness and Blushing Bride.

Interesting colours aren't they?
I really didn't know what to do with them. So I sat and made a water colour wash onto my Fluid 1000 water colour paper with Blushing Bride.
And then it all started to come together.
I used our dotted mask and Magenta Madness to blend dots on top of the wash I previously did.
I blended the colour out as I neared the edge of my cardstock, so the colour lightens as it moves out from the centre.

To finish the card off, I stamped Butterflies in Pacific Point. Some in full strength and some stamped off once.

It's a very different style then I'm used to, but I must say, the outcome is quite lovely and I'm so glad to beat this colour combination, lol.
