Today i have tried my hand at Simple Stamping.
Simple Stamping is a way to introduce new paper crafters to stamping. All it involves is SIP, Stamps, Ink, Paper!
Now, i'm someone who likes to add a bit more Pretty, or a bit more Happy, Cute, etc, to my cards.
Simple Stamping to me was a bit tricky. But certainly not something i was going to give up on!
And low and behold, i did it!! I simple stamped! < If that's even a word, lol.
Feeling pretty proud within myself i must say.
So you see, don't EVER give up on something. Sometimes things just take a little practice.
This is a photo heavy post as i ended up creating another card & a beautiful Gable box as extra's. Both of these go beyond Simple Stamping, but the first card is ALL Simple Stamping.
I have used Pineapple Punch & Lemon Lime Twist Ink Pads for my fruits. The sentiment is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.
I have sponged around the card front in Lemon Lime Twist.
It was really easy to do, and i would love to know if you replicate it.
Let's move onto the other 2 projects.
I have done the same as i did in my Simple Stamping card above, only this time, i have stepped it up.
For the card, i punched out the lemon and popped it up on Dimensionals. I have sprayed some Champange Shimmer Mist onto the Lemon Lime Twist panel for a bit of sparkle. It also matches in with the Lustrous Gable Box as it is shimmery too.
For the box, i have cut out panels of my stamped lemons & limes images and adhered. I have used 2 ribbons to tie it off. And simply placed a Happy Birthday sentiment onto it.
When i showed my mother in law the cards she was amazed at how lovely the colours were. They are are bright & fresh.
Sadly we are losing Lemon Lime Twist soon. It will no longer be available from the end of May 2019.
It's one of my favourite colours of all time, so if you love it too, i would highly encourage you to get it before it goes. Don't forget to grab an Ink Refill for it too.
