Welcome to my blog, My name is Mel, I'm an Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator here in Australia.Today I have a really fun little card and gift box.
As soon as I saw the heart die in the Wreath Builder Die set it reminded me of the Heart candies from years back. Do you remember them? They would having sayings on them, like Be Mine, XoXo, Love You etc.
That was the inspiration for today's project.
I've used nothing but Dies and ribbon for these. Not a stamp set in sight.
I've used the following 3 die sets. Playful Alphabet, Wreath Builder, and Mini Curvy Keepsakes Box.
I will have a list of all products used at the bottom of this post.
Let me run you through what I did.
I used our Adhesive Sheets to stick to my cardstocks so that when die cut, the cardstock already has adhesive on it and is ready to stick down.
I used the following coloured cardstocks, Magenta Madness, Granny Apple Green, Coastal Cabana for the card, and Bermuda bay for the box.
For the word You, I layered Whisper White letters onto Magenta Madness letters, off setting them slightly.
For the ribbons, I simply coloured them with Magenta Madness and Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends.
Do they remind you of the old heart candies? I hope so.
