Have you ever thought about making a card with a fun little edge? A Creative Cut!!!
I promise it's easy.
I used the Time For Tea dies to partially cut out an edgelit. I drew a straight line in pencil, so it can be erased soon after.
I then layed my dies where i wanted them.
Now, this is the important part. I put my top plate on top, but ONLY to the edge of the pencil line. I want to cut part of the die not the whole thing.
So, my plate sat on the right hand side of the card, and only to the pencil line. Then i ran it through my big shot machine.
This gave me my partially cut border.
Because Stampin' Blends bleed through the paper, i stamped, coloured, then die cut the flowers. I then adhered them on top of the partially cut edge. No bleeding through!
For my sentiment, i used Special Celebration stamp set. It has amazing sentiments for inside AND outside of our cards. I chose to use the inside and outside sentiment all on the outside.
I've used Calypso Coral and either Mossy Meadow or Old Olive stampin' blends to colour with.
