Today i bring you a sympathy card for when we lose a pet. Pet's are most certainly a loved member of our families.
I love dogs a lot but can't have one here, so i have a bunny instead. She's amazing. I will post a picture of her at the bottom of this post.
We love our pet's, no matter what breed they are, and we feel grief when they pass. I know i sure do. So i think it's important to recognize that loss.
For my card, i have kept it neutral colours. My card base is Crumb Cake. Cut at 5 7/8" x 8 1/4". Scored in half at 4 1/8".
I have used a piece of wood designer series paper from our Wood Textures 6x6 DSP pack. It measures 3 1/2" x 5 7/8".
I have a piece of scrap Early Espresso, no particular size, just enough to go under the sentiment. I have spritzed it with water and man handled it! I crumbled it and tore at it to give it some dimension.
The sentiment is stamped in Soft Suede Ink.
The dog is stamped in Memento Black Ink. He is punched out using the Dog Builder Punch. You can buy this punch on it's own, or as a bundle with the Happy Tails stamp set. Only until June 3rd 2019.
The inside is layered onto a piece of Early Espresso. I have stamped the sentiment inside in Early Espresso. The doggie house is stamped off in Soft Suede. Then full strength Early Espresso. I have stamped that on a piece of Whisper White and fussy cut it out before adhering to the inside of my card.

As i promised here is a picture of my bunny Bebe. She's pretty much my world. We rescued her from the RSPCA and i honestly can't believe how wonderful she is. She even runs circles around me for treats. We taught her so much and she's an absolute pleasure.
