Floating & Fluttering Congratulations Card

Hello Beautiful People,

Happy New Year to you all, It's a fresh year and I hope it's a really wonderful one for you all.
Welcome to a new year of creativity and blog hopping with the Stamp 'n Hop group.
I hope you make your way through each blog today, and show some love while you're there.
You have come to my blog from Alison Carter in the UK, Thanks Alison. I hope you enjoyed her project today.

Our first hop of the year is all about Saleabration, or more often than not referred to as SAB, as well as featuring the January-June Mini Catalogue. I hope you enjoy it all.

I made this card for my friend who was chosen to be on the 2021 Artisan Design Team for Stampin' Up!.  An amazing achievement for her, and an accomplishment a lot of us dream of.
I'm super happy and excited for her. She's going to be amazing! Well, she already is amazing, but you know what I'm saying.

I didn't have a clear direction for this card, but in my head, all I could think was, Gold, Gold Gold! Lol.
I thought it would have ribbon, and maybe some extra things, in Gold of course, but it worked out differently.

I've used Very Vanilla Thick cardstock as my base, and inside piece.
I cut a card front piece out of the new, and gorgeous Golden Garden Designer Specialty Paper. It's a beautiful acetate with gold design on one side, and flip it over for a silver look on the other side. Choice is yours.

I then heat embossed the butterflies and sentiment onto Gold Foil with Gold Emboss Powder.
The butterflies were cut out using the Die from the Floating & Fluttering Bundle.
Some butterflies were popped on a dimensional, and the acetate is stuck down using our Stampin' Seal+ adhesive. I had the card for a few weeks before I sent it out, so that I could see if the adhesive held up in the few spots I was able to put it on. Good news is that it stuck really well.
I'm so glad about that because who wants to send a beautiful card of congratulations and have it fall apart, not me. lol.

Anywho, enough chatter. I'll send you on to the next wonderfully creative blogger for today, Stacey Marsh. Click on the arrow below and it will take you to her blog.

Until next time,

Be Happy Be Kind Be Creative
