Hello Beautiful People.
Welcome to my blog. This is my little home where I can share my creativity with the world, and I hope you enjoy it here.
Today I have a note card for you. I have made it using a new bundle called Honey Bee. It's a gorgeous bundle and I can't wait to tuck into it some more.
- To make this card you will need one of our Note Cards with Envelope. The Honey Bee Bundle, and the Birch background stamp.
- Stamp the Birch stamp in Crumb Cake onto some Crumb Cake card stock. This piece will measure 3 1/2" x 5".
- Cut a piece of Whisper White card stock 2 1/2" wide and punch the top with our Delightful Tag Topper Punch.
- Sponge a mix of Soft Sea Foam, Pear Pizzazz, Old Olive and Crumb Cake onto the Whisper White piece.
- Stamp the bee and flower from Honey Bee stamp set onto the tag in Gray Granite. I stamped off once for these images.
- I stamped the sentiment in Gray Granite, but full strength.
- I die cut the honeycomb piece in Whisper White and adhered to tag.
- The Bee is stamped in Memento Black Ink and I coloured only his wings with Light Pool Party Stampin' Blend. Then I die cut him out.
- The strip running across the tag looks black, but it's actually Early Espresso.
- Once the tag is finished I popped it onto the card base with dimensionals.
Because this is a note card with quite the dimension you will find it's a tight fit in the envelope. To counter this you can do 2 things. One, leave the tag off the dimensionals which will still look wonderful.
Or 2, manipulate the envelope to make it fit! This is what I do. All you have to do is hold the envelope at the sides and push in. This has helped me many times. I hope that makes sense. Man handle the envelope and make him easier to work with, without ruining the envelope of course.
I have included a list of items below so you know exactly what I used, and you can click on the items to get them directly from my online store.
I look forward to seeing you again with some more creative fun.
