I have a lovely little note card for you today. I hope you like it.
I love myself a cup of tea, in fact, i have one here right now, lol.
I also loves flowers. And i thought, you know what, let's combine the two together. So i pulled out Tea Together and this is what i came up with.
I really wanted the tea cup and saucer to look like steel so i stamped my image, as well as the sentiment in Stazon Black Ink. Don't use your Memento pad as it will smear. The Stazon is permanent and will not smudge. I hit it with the Heat Gun for a few seconds just to make sure it dries faster.
Once i stamped that, i cut it out using the Tea Time Dies.
I love the look of it, all shiny and fancy looking.
I then coloured my flowers in Mango Melody Stampin' Blends, and Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blends. I used Old Olive Stampin' Blends for the leaves. I then cut them out using the Tea Time Dies once more.
These are adhered onto the tea cup using some Tear and Tape. Only along the base of the flowers, as i wanted the tops of them to sit up a bit and not be completely stuck down.
I have embossed a layer of Thick Whisper White with our Pinewood Planks 3D embossing folder.
I left it white, with no sponging or colouring because i wanted the tea cup to be the stand out in this card.
Here is a close up of the Tea Cup and Flowers.
What do you guys think? Do you like the simpleness of the background? I really do. No embellishments, no bling, no ribbon, nothing extra added. I LOVE IT.
Until next time my friends. Be Happy Be Kind Be Creative.
