Have you seen the Delightfully Detailed Note Cards in the annual catalogue? Page 193. You get 20 cards & envelopes, 5 each of 4 different designs. They are really lovely, and making simple little cards with them is well, Simple. Lol.
I have taken 2 of the Mint Macaron cards and simply added some Butterfly Elements, which are a free item during Saleabration 2019. You get a bunch of wooden elements in all different sizes and ranges, from butterflies, to flowers to leaves. 84 pieces in total. Definitely a worthy free item to get.
For the sentiment i have used Follow Your Dreams stamp set. Page 54 of the Annual catalogue. I simply stamped it in Versamark and heat embossed it in white emboss powder, on Basic Black card stock.
Like i said, very simple card but with a really lovely wow effect. I just love the flying butterflies on the Mint Macaron watercoloured background.
The envelopes are a tight fit and normally struggle to fit something with so much height, like the wooden elements. But if you gently manipulate the envelope, If you push it in from the sides gently it will work and i promise the cards fit in, no need to worry. Kind of like when you buy a new shirt but it's too tight, so you pull at it and stretch it out. This is what i do to make the envelopes a bit more workable. God i hope that made sense, it's really hard to explain in words.
