Welcome to my blog, my little avenue for sharing what i love doing, papercraft! I hope you like all that you see.
I'm participating in Kylie's Demonstrator Training Blog Hop for January and i'm pretty darn excited to play along in this one.. It's my first time hopping with this lovely bunch of crafters and i'm really looking forward to hopping around their pages. I hope you do some hopping too. Check at the end of this post for the links to all of our hoppers for January, and also for the supplies i used.
The theme was anything we liked. I've been making baby projects lately and well, i did another one for this hop. I've paired our Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper with a brand new (and super awesome) stamp set called First Steps.

I can tell you, i have wanted a stamp set with hand and foot prints for a long long time, and i finally have it! LOVE! It has the cutest stars in it. Most stars have pointy edges and quite a sharp look to them, which is fine, but the ones in this set have rounded edges, which i love love love, it makes them look bouncy! Reminds me of a cartoon star from a kids show, the name escapes me though.
The sentiments in it are awesome too.
Let me tell you about the projects.
I made a large sized gusseted gift bag from a piece of 6x12" pool party piece of DSP from Twinkle Twinkle. I followed the instructions on the Gift Bag Punch Board to make the bag. For the topper, i cut a piece of 2 1/2" Whisper White cardstock, length really doesn't matter, i use a scrap bit of cardstock, just make sure it is long enough to fit the width of the bag. I then put it at the start line of the gift bag punch board, punched and scored at the Large line. Moving that score line up to the start line, i then punched once more, snipping off any extra cardstock after that last punch mark. This gave me my topper to which i simply stamped those awesome BOUNCY stars all over it in Pool Party. Love love love!
Adhere Only the back side of the topper the to back of the gift bag.
To hold the topper closed, i used a mini binder clip (retired). I tied a bow onto it using our Silver and Pool Party Bakers Twine. The twine is so pretty don't you think? The silver that runs through it really adds a little something something extra, just lovely.
I embossed the images in both the bag and the card.
Look at all that beautiful stitching. Love it!
The card uses the same stamp set, with our Stitched Label Framelits. I used a note card for the card. I cut the frame out with Pool Party Cardstock and embossed the feet and sentiment using White Emboss Powder.
I love the softness of it, very very baby-ish, lol. It was really easy to create and lot's of fun. I really hope you like it too.
Thanks for being here. Please hop your way through everybody else.
Btw, i love participating in hops, i love saying the word hop. I'm a bunny mummy and anything bun related i just love, so hoppity hop your way to more creative goodness.
