Last night we had a massive storm. The thunder was huge. It was very very beautiful. But when a storm comes, so does the gray skies. But that's okay, i took some good out of the bleary sky and found some inspiration. I was going to colour in gray scale.
I simply stamped the roses from the Stained Glass stamp set in Basic Gray ink. I coloured the images in with Basic Gray and Old Olive watercolour pencils. No water! Just the pencils on their own.
Gray is one of my favourite colours and i've wanted to colour in gray for a very long time. I'm hoping to do loads more of it.
The sentiment is stamped in versamark and heat embossed in white emboss powder. I've die cut it with an oval from our Stitched Shapes Framelits. I have punched out a piece of vellum with our Starburst Punch and embossed it with our Subtles Dynamic Embossing Folder (DTIEF). Hard to see in a picture but it is there.
