Petal Palette Meets Nature's Poem.

Hello Everyone,
I hope you're all happy and well today. Thanks for visiting here.
Earlier today i blogged about a creative retreat i was part of over this past weekend.
This post is to share my Make & Takes that i came up with.

I will give you measurements for both of these cards.
Let's start with my Petal Pink one.

Measurements:

Base: 4 1/8" x 11 3/4" A4 directly in half. Scored at 5 7/8" Petal Pink.

Dsp Layers: 1, 3" x 5 7/8".
                     1, 3/4" x 5 7/8"

Inks: Blackberry Bliss. Petal Pink.

Extras: Copper Thread. 2" Circle Punch. Petals & More Thinlits. Petal Palette Stamp set. Metallic Sequins. Dimensionals. Tombow Liquid Glue.

How To:
Adhere the 3/4" DSP piece to the 3" DSP piece. Then adhere that to the card base.
Stamp your sentiment in Blackberry Bliss and punch out with the 2" circle punch, leaving room at the top to sit your bird on.
Stamp your bird from Petal Palette in Blackberry Bliss and cut out using the matching die from Petals and more thinlits. While you're die cutting, cut out a piece of the long detailed die to go behind your sentiment, in Petal Pink card stock.

Glue your bird to the top of the sentiment you punched out. Wrap Copper thread around your hand about 3 times, adhere to the back of the circle. Also adhere the Petal Pink trim we just die cut out to the back of the circle. Pop dimensionals onto the back of this, and also to the top of the birds head. Lay all of this onto the card base. Finish the front off with 3 copper sequins from the Metallic Sequins pack.

I have stamped a flower and a sweet little sentiment on the inside, and stamped the envelope also.

Now onto my second make & take.

Measurements:
Base: 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", scored at 4 1/8".

Layers:
1, DSP 5 5/8" x 3 7/8".
1, DSP 4 3/8" x 2 5/8".
1 Tranquil Tide Card stock 4 5/8" x 2 7/8".
1, DSP Soft Suede piece 3/4" x 2 5/8".

Extras:Emboss Buddy, White Emboss Powder, Versamark. Petal Palette Stamp Set. Nature's Poem DSP.

How To:
Adhere all Dsp to their matching card stock pieces. Emboss sentiment with White Emboss Powder. Cut out with die from Petals and More thinlits. Attach all to the front, small tranquil tide layer, pop on dimensionals and adhere to card base.

I hope you have enjoyed this post today, and the projects.

Please feel free to drop me a line if you need anything.
Happy day to you all, Mel. Xo.
